I often wake up in the mornings with an idea or an action I want to take that day.
It could be something as mundane as an outfit I want to wear or something bigger like a goal I want to accomplish.
I’ve learned over the years not to second-guess these inspirations. I like to think of it as key to maintaining clear thinking.
If an image or an idea presents itself, I try to act on it.
Why? I like how Steve Harvey put it: “It’s God showing you a preview of a coming attraction.”
I like to think of it as my higher power telling me what I’m supposed to do that day. I risk messing with the universe’s plan if I ignore it.
Added bonus: A substantial drop in decision fatigue.
If I wake up thinking about the black pants, I just wear the black pants. I try not to muddle things by switching last minute to the blue pants.
P.S. The image is an AI rendering of "Steve Harvey in a Zen state," lol.
