Pretty Dresses with Sneakers

I don't know about you, but I’m a sucker for the enduring dress-with-sneakers trend.

It shows that women anymore—prodded in part by the pandemic, no doubt—prize comfort over looking stereotypically “female” [insert stiletto emoji here]. Whoo, hoo! No more pinched toes and high heel-shaped Barbie feet.

Even Birkenstock, in its filing to go public, cited “modern feminism” as a key driver of its phenomenal growth in recent years. Women don’t want to just look good. They want to look good and be able to walk for long periods. What a concept.
